Côte d’Ivoire–United Arab Emirates economic cooperation: CCI-CI hosts Emirati investors delegation
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Côte d’Ivoire (CCI-CI) has strengthened its international partnership agenda by receiving a high-level delegation of Emirati investors on Monday, April 13, 2026.
The delegation, composed of business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, was led by His Excellency Diaby Vacaba, Ambassador of Côte d’Ivoire to the UAE. The meeting was chaired by CCI-CI President Touré Faman, alongside senior officials of the institution.
According to CCI-CI, the visit is part of the ongoing implementation of a cooperation agreement signed on November 26, 2024, in Dubai between the chamber and Global Real Estate Developers, in the presence of Côte d’Ivoire’s Prime Minister. The partnership aims to deepen economic ties between the two countries and promote investment in strategic sectors.
The discussions focused on key areas including construction, luxury design, agriculture, mining particularly manganese and cross-border trade. These sectors are aligned with Côte d’Ivoire’s National Development Plan (PND) 2026–2030, which prioritises structural transformation and private sector-led growth.
The Emirati delegation is expected to carry out a four-day working visit in Côte d’Ivoire, including meetings with public and private institutions. The objective is to better understand the country’s business environment and identify investment opportunities.
CCI-CI President Touré Faman welcomed the initiative and praised the efforts of Ambassador Diaby Vacaba in strengthening cooperation between Ivorian and Emirati private sectors. He also instructed his teams to provide full support and facilitate meetings between the visiting delegation and relevant stakeholders.
The visit is expected to pave the way for concrete partnerships and increased trade flows between Côte d’Ivoire and the United Arab Emirates, reinforcing a growing economic relationship between the two countries.
