Promotion of Made in Côte d'Ivoire: Ivorians and Economic Operators Invited to Participate Massively in FOMCI 2025

The Commissioner General of the Made in Côte d'Ivoire Fair (FOMCI), Aimé Kablan Koizan, took the opportunity this Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the weekly exchange and information platform of the Government Information and Communication Center (CICG), known as “Tout Savoir Sur,” to call on the Ivorian population and economic operators to participate massively in the 3rd edition of the Made in Côte d'Ivoire Fair (FOMCI 2025). He was speaking on the theme: “Promoting Made in Côte d'Ivoire.”

The 3rd edition of FOMCI is scheduled to take place from April 2 to 6, 2025, at the Abidjan Exhibition Park, under the theme: "FOCUS on Competitiveness and Innovation."

“I call on all Ivorians and economic operators to come out in large numbers and take part in the Made in Côte d'Ivoire Fair. Come and be key players in promoting locally manufactured products and services marketed in Côte d'Ivoire. Together, hand in hand, we must resolutely commit to making Made in Côte d'Ivoire a lever for growth and a tool for conquering international markets, especially with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), which presents a real opportunity,” he declared.

Highlighting that 90% of the FOMCI 2025 exhibition stands have already been sold, Aimé Kablan Koizan urged economic players who have not yet signed up to do so "very quickly," reminding them that March 21 marks the deadline for stand sales. “Our goal is a minimum of 150 exhibitors and more than 50,000 visitors,” he stated.

Among the activities planned for FOMCI 2025 are a breakfast debate on the central theme, panel discussions, a fashion show, and a culinary village.

Additionally, the CICG guest mentioned that this edition will be an opportunity for the Minister of Trade and Industry to express the Nation's gratitude to both public and private stakeholders for their significant contribution to the commercial and industrial sector.

It is worth noting that FOMCI is a platform dedicated to promoting local processing, marketing, and consumption of local products. It serves as a showcase of Côte d'Ivoire’s industrial, agricultural, culinary, clothing, cosmetic, electronic, technological, pharmaceutical, hygiene, cultural, and literary expertise.
