Ten Years Later, Air Côte d’Ivoire Confirms Its Leadership with Over 7 Million Passengers Transported
With approximately 7,400,000 passengers transported between 2013 and 2024, Air Côte d’Ivoire has solidified its position as a leader in West and Central Africa. Since its first commercial flight, the Ivorian national airline has steadily expanded its regional and international network while modernizing its fleet.
These figures were presented by the Director General of Civil Aviation, Ahmed Djibril Coulibaly, who was the guest speaker at the weekly press conference Tout Savoir Sur, organized by the Government Information and Communication Center (CICG) on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in Abidjan-Plateau.
They mark a symbolic milestone for the airline, which has emerged as a strategic player in African air transport, contributing to regional economic integration and continental connectivity.
“Air Côte d’Ivoire recorded, for the second consecutive year, a sharply increased profit, reaching 1,478,672,098 CFA francs in 2024—a 125% increase compared to 2023,” Ahmed Djibril Coulibaly proudly announced.
He also noted that Air Côte d’Ivoire currently serves 18 destinations across West and Central Africa. On the domestic network, the airports of Korhogo, Bouaké, Man, San Pedro, and Odienné, which receive regular flights from Air Côte d’Ivoire, account for an average of 70,000 passengers transported annually.
