The inaugural Combat Lifesaver Course (CLS) in Séguéla (town in northwest Côte d'Ivoire capital of Worodougou region, Séguéla department capital of Woroba district) has been a resounding success. Over the past five days, a specialized training team from the United States has equipped 93 Ivorian Army personnel with vital medical and emergency skills.
The intensive course, designed to enhance the soldiers' ability to provide immediate medical care in combat situations, concluded with the graduation of the first cohort on August 23. This program represents a significant advancement in the medical preparedness of the Ivorian armed forces, ensuring that soldiers are well-prepared to handle critical situations effectively.
The CLS training is part of ongoing efforts to bolster military capabilities and improve the overall readiness of the Ivorian Army. The successful completion of this course marks an important milestone in enhancing the lifesaving skills of the troops stationed in Séguéla.
