Three talented Ivorians have been selected to receive the prestigious Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) from the South Korean government. This esteemed award will enable them to pursue a Master’s or Doctoral degree at top universities in South Korea.
The awardees are :DIEI Salomon: Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Institut Ivoirien de Technologie (Top of his class), currently a Software Engineer and co-founder of the Tour.CI application;N'CHO Alban: Holder of two Master's degrees, one in Development Economics and the other in Korean Studies (Top of both classes), currently a Research Assistant at IUA and TAKI Yannick: Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from India, currently working as a Pharmacist in a multinational company.
The award ceremony took place in the presence of His Excellency Kim Saeng, the South Korean Ambassador to Côte d'Ivoire.
The GKS is awarded annually to exceptional students from around the world. With a value exceeding 30 million CFA francs, this scholarship provides access to high-quality education in South Korea and represents a significant opportunity for the recipients.
