Presentation of Côte d'Ivoire's Green Project Portfolio

This Thursday, during the roundtable on the presentation of Côte d'Ivoire's green project portfolio, held on the sidelines of COP 29, the Vice President of the Republic, Tiémoko Meyliet Koné, reaffirmed the commitment of President Alassane Ouattara and the Government to ensuring a successful ecological transition. He emphasized accelerating the construction of a decarbonized economy supported by the continuous increase in the share of renewable energies in the country’s energy mix, including solar, biomass, and hydroelectric power.

The Vice President further urged technical and financial partners, as well as national and international private sector actors, to take on a greater role in financing and implementing Côte d'Ivoire's green project portfolio.
