Mali, Burkina Faso: CFAF 1,000 billion spent by Ivorian oil companies

While Côte d'Ivoire is self-sufficient in petroleum products, with national production of 4.84 million tonnes in 2023 for local consumption of 2.79 million tonnes, representing 58% of its production, this is not the case for Mali and Burkina Faso, which rely heavily on imports from Côte d'Ivoire to meet their needs.
