Ivory Coast's Kevin Yebo Joins Bayern Munich Basketball

German basketball has been rocked by a surprising transfer as Ivorian center Kevin Yebo has signed a three-year contract (2024-2027) with Bayern Munich Basketball. Yebo, who was instrumental in securing the German Championship (2023-2024) for the Niners Chemnitz, is set to strengthen Bayern’s lineup as they aim to dominate both the German league and the 2025 EuroLeague.

The 2.07-meter-tall athlete impressed with an average of 17 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game during his time with the Niners. Following a test with the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, Yebo opted to continue his career in Germany, this time with Bayern Munich, the arch-rival of his former team.

Yebo's move is expected to be a major boost for Bayern as they seek to establish themselves as contenders in both domestic and international competitions. His performance, leadership, and experience will undoubtedly play a key role in the team’s ambitions moving forward.

With his sights set on contributing to Bayern’s success, Kevin Yebo is ready to make his mark once again in German basketball, this time wearing the red and white of Munich.
