Natacha Konan Presents FIFA U20 Women's World Cup “Colombia 2024” Participation Medal to FIF

Returning from the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, held from August 31 to September 22, 2024, in Colombia, Natacha Konan, who represented Côte d’Ivoire as a Match Director, presented her participation medal to the President of the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF) on Monday, September 23, 2024.

Accompanied by members of the Central Referees Commission, Natacha Konan, a FIFA-certified referee, was received by Mr. Malick Tohe (1st Vice President of FIF) and Colonel Koné Mamadou (3rd Vice President of FIF).

“You are a source of pride today. The pride of your profession. People tend to criticize referees, but you are proof that we are training excellent referees in Côte d'Ivoire. We want to thank you for that. The profession you represented is proud. The Federation to which you belong is proud. Côte d'Ivoire is proud of you,” said 1st Vice President Malick Tohe.

It should be noted that Natacha Konan officiated two group stage matches at the U20 Women's World Cup "Colombia 2024": Costa Rica vs Netherlands (7-0) and Austria vs New Zealand (3-1).

Konan Akissi Natacha Gérardine, her full name, is also part of the list of 40 FIF Professional Referees selected for the 2024-2025 season.
