Well-being and Performance at Work: An Evening of Insightful Exchanges at Espace Plada

In today’s increasingly demanding professional world, balancing performance and employee well-being has become a strategic priority for many organizations. It was around this important topic that the Well-being & Performance at Work Conference was held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Espace Plada, Riviera 2 Cocody.

Organized under the Meet and Greet label, the event brought together high-level experts and an engaged and attentive audience. From the outset, the moderator set the tone with a key question: How can we ensure sustainable efficiency while safeguarding the physical and mental health of employees?

 A Panel of Leading Experts

Over the course of two and a half hours, four experts with complementary backgrounds shared their insights and experiences on workplace well-being:

·        Mr. Choilio Dosso, HR expert, winner of the RH Awards, and author of The Power of Human Capital, emphasized the importance of human and inspiring leadership in unlocking employee potential.

·        Dr. Ange Béké, occupational physician, highlighted the crucial role of health prevention and the need to embed safety into corporate culture.

·        Éric Antoine Oyebe, corporate massage expert with 15 years of experience, showcased the benefits of wellness massage in reducing chronic stress and supporting physical recovery.

·        Karel Guié, founder of the KAWA center and specialist in bodysculpting, shared her holistic approach to well-being through innovative techniques and personalized care.

 Dialogue, Solutions, and Inspiration

Following the individual presentations, a rapid round-table discussion allowed the panelists to provide practical tips for enhancing workplace well-being—even on a tight budget. This was followed by an interactive session with the audience, filled with meaningful exchanges and testimonies.

 The “Company Initiatives” Segment

The “Company Initiatives” spotlight provided an opportunity to discover several organizations actively engaged in promoting workplace well-being. Each one shared its best practices, challenges, and the positive impact observed among its teams. This inspiring sequence clearly demonstrated that well-being can become a lasting part of corporate strategy.

Family Photo and Networking

The conference ended on a warm and convivial note, with a group photo and a networking session that encouraged informal exchanges and the building of long-term connections.

By initiating this event, Alix Milogo, founder of the Meet and Greet concept, reminded attendees of the project’s core mission:

“To create a space for meaningful encounters, where we strive to make people better.”
