China-Africa Summit 2024: Vice President Tiemoko Meyliet Koné Engages in High-Level Talks on Education and Economic Development

On Friday, Vice President Tiemoko Meyliet Koné attended the opening of the High-Level Tripartite Dialogue on China-Africa-UNESCO Education and Cultural Heritage, as part of the China-Africa Summit 2024.

During his visit, Vice President Koné held meetings with Chinese leaders, including Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang, Vice President of China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation (SINOSURE) Zhang Wui, President of the Export-Import Bank of China (EXIMBANK) Wang Chunying, and Vice President of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) Zhang Weiwu.

In these discussions, Koné expressed his gratitude to the Chinese government and corporate leaders for their continued support of Côte d'Ivoire’s educational system and the financing of the country's economy. He further encouraged increased Chinese investment in development projects that will drive economic growth, job creation, and new opportunities.
